Orders & Production

How long until my order ships?
Every Tesserae piece is made to order, just for you. Production takes 2–5 business days, then shipping time on top. We don’t hold stock — making each item on demand is how we keep waste low and quality high. You’ll get a tracking link the moment it ships, and you’ll see an estimated delivery date at checkout.

Estimated delivery times (production included):

  • United States: 9–14 business days
  • United Kingdom: 7–14 business days
  • Canada: 13–15 business days
  • Everywhere else: 15–25 business days

Why made-to-order? Why not just keep stock?
Because a mosaic isn’t mass-produced — it’s set one piece at a time. Made-to-order means less overproduction, less landfill, and a piece created specifically for you. The trade-off is a few extra days; we think it’s worth it.

Where do you ship?
We ship worldwide. Production and delivery times vary by destination — the estimated total is shown before you pay.

How much is shipping?
Free shipping to the US, UK, and Canada. For everywhere else, a flat rate is shown at checkout before you pay.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Because items go into production quickly, we can only change or cancel within 24 hours of ordering. Email us fast at hello@tesseraewear.com and we’ll do our best.

I ordered several items. Will they arrive together?
Sometimes items are produced and shipped separately, so they may arrive in more than one parcel at different times. There’s no extra charge to you.

Product & Sizing

How do I choose my size?
Each product page has a detailed size guide with measurements. We recommend measuring a garment you already love and comparing. Between sizes? Size up for a relaxed fit.

How should I care for my garment?
To keep the print vivid: wash cold, inside out, gentle cycle; tumble dry low or hang dry; don’t iron directly on the print; no bleach. All-over prints are durable but love a gentle wash.

Will the print look exactly like the photos?
Very close. Because each piece is printed individually, slight variation in placement or tone is normal — it’s the nature of made-to-order, not a defect.

Payments & Checkout

What payment methods do you accept?
All major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. We never see or store your card details.

Is checkout secure?
Yes. Payments are encrypted and processed through Shopify’s secure checkout.
